Fly Fishing Report
In the last week the Blue Wing Olives have started to come out on the Provo Rivers. Are Guides have been using 20-22 gray and olive dry fly pattens along with Midge nymph patterns. The Provo Rivers are located 35 min from Park City and 40 min from Salt Lake City.
Provo River Guides
This picture was taken yesterday March 3rd by one of are Guides on the Lower Provo River 35 Minutes form Park City. Midges hatched about 12:00pm and ended about 1:30pm. Fishing was fantasic during this time using small Midge patterns, Sizes 20-22 red, green and black nymphs.
Spring Fly-Fishing 2021
The Lower and middle Provo are fishing good right now with Buffalo Midges coming off. Red, green and black nymph patterns work well. Sizes 20-22.

Summer Fly-Fishing
The Lower Provo, Weber and Middle Provo River are all fishing good right now. The flows on the Lower Provo are 640 CFS Middle, Provo 650 CFS and the Weber River is at 300-500 CFS depending on where your at. Flies to use Pmd Nymphs, Small Midges, and Sow Bugs.
Early Summer Fly Fishing
The Lower provo has been fishing great all spring and early summer, with Mayfly nymphs, drys ,Sow bugs and Midges. The Middle provo is high right now running at 1800 CFS. Park city is slowly starting to open back up due to the virus. Are guides are ready to work. Hope to see some of you soon.
Fly-Fishing Fall 2019
It was a great fall for Fly-Fishing on the Middle Provo this year. Blue-Wing Olives where out in full force along with Midges, PMD’s and Caddis. We want to thank everyone who come out to Park City and Salt Lake City UT, that used Wilderness Trout Expeditions for their Guides Service.
Park City Utah fly fishing Guides
What a great year for Fly-Fishing on Utah’s Blue Ribbon Rivers. With the high water early on the fish have had plenty to eat and well oxygenated. Fishing should countiue to been amazing through late summer into fall. PMD’S are still hatching on the Lower Provo, Middle Provo and Weber River. Evening Caddis should start Hatch with in the next week or two. There are some bigger caddis out in the morning and afternoon and the Lower Provo and Middle Provo
